Ask participants questions in a Google Meet meeting

Anyone in a meeting can ask questions. The questions will show until they're deleted or hidden.

After a meeting, the moderator will get a detailed report of all the questions.

Anyone who schedules or starts a meeting will be the meeting host. If you transfer or schedule a meeting on someone else's calendar, the other person could become the meeting host. By default, there's only one meeting host per meeting but, inside the meeting, you can add up to 25 co-hosts.

Turn on Q&A

Important:

  • Q&A turns on automatically for all users except Google Workspace for Education users. For Education users, meeting hosts can turn on Q&A during the meeting.

  2. Scroll to Meeting activities.

The question is shared in its entirety with Google. The question will later be anonymised or deleted, subject to our data retention policy.
