The theme [theme] attribute defines the theme of a product that carries the image or style of a well-known character or concept. Some examples of how to use theme include:
- A sports shirt that has options for different crests such as 'Rangers' and 'Tigers'
- A backpack that has options for different movie character themes such as 'Frozen' or 'Thomas and Friends'
- A coffee mug that has different designs such as 'art deco' and 'bauhaus'
When to use
Required for all products in an item group that vary by theme. Recommended for all products for which theme is an important, distinguishing attribute.
Format
Follow these formatting guidelines to make sure that Google understands the data that you're submitting.
