Note: If a product will be publicly announced in the future, use the disclosure date [disclosure_date]
attribute to make sure the information is not seen immediately.

Minimum requirements
To use this attribute to upload your product's data, follow this minimum requirement. If your attribute is disapproved, we'll notify you in the Updated "Key Actions" to "Diagnostics." page of your Manufacturer Center account.
- The release date
[release_date]
must follow this format: YYYY-MM-DD. Dates in any other format will be rejected.
Best practice
These are best practices that can help you go beyond the basic requirements to optimize your product data for performance.
- If using a disclosure date
[disclosure_date]
, the disclosure date[disclosure_date]
should be before the release date[release_date]
. - Do not submit “0” as a release date. “0” dates will be rejected.
