Verify forwarding addresses

You can automatically forward incoming emails to another email address. You can forward all of your emails, or create a filter to forward emails that meet certain rules.

You must verify that the email address you want to forward emails to is a legitimate recipient. After you add a forwarding address, Gmail sends an email to that address with a link to confirm permission to forward emails.

Tip: If you use Gmail for work or school, Gmail doesn't require you to verify the forwarding address if the email address is for a user or group in your organisation.
