Naming Conventions in Hotel Ads
The Hotel Ads product from Google uses many terms that you might not be familiar with. This section shows you what those terms refer to.
End-users can use hotel search on Google to find a hotel.
- There's an optimized interface for hotel search on mobile and on Google Maps.
When someone searches for "hotels in [any city]", Google shows a mix of traditional text ads and organic results. The organic results include the hotel search unit.
Click the "More hotels" link to see the full view.
Within the full view, click a hotel to see a detailed card.
Details and Booking
The hotel details card shows detailed information about a hotel.
- There is an optimized interface for hotel detail cards on mobile and on Google Maps.
- Date pickers and filters make it easy to find hotels that meet the end-user's criteria.
When available, Promoted Hotels may appear on top of the full view on desktop to signed-in users in the US and UK.
In some cases, users can book with the hotel or an OTA partner on Google and complete the reservation easily, without having to visit another website.
