AdSense ads and other banner ads
In most cases, Google Ad Grantees may host ads on their website to drive more revenue to their organization. However, there are some requirements:
- Google Ad Grants recipients cannot host Google AdSense ads on their website or affiliate advertising links. If you would like to apply to Google Ad Grants, you will have to remove AdSense ads from your website. If we find that you're in violation of our policy prohibiting a nonprofit organization from receiving Ad Grants while monetizing its websites through AdSense, we reserve the right to remove your organization from the Google Ad Grants program. If you're required to link to an AdSense account to receive payments for the Android Market, please note that you are still eligible for Google Ad Grants as long as you don't display AdSense ads on your organization's website.
- If your website displays banner ads or additional advertising, we ask that the ads remain unobtrusive and that your organization's content is the focal point of each page on your website.
Google Ad Grants recipients found in violation of this policy are subject to removal from the program. Google reserves the right to grant or deny an organization's application or participation at any time, for any reason, and to supplement or amend these eligibility guidelines at any time.
