Learn about store pages

Store pages give you a comprehensive overview of a business to help make your buying decisions easier. They combine brand information, shopper's feedback, and Google's own insights. These pages can have a concise business description, company logo, homepage link, contact details, and video reviews for potential shoppers. You can get to store pages in various ways, like clicking on a store rating or Top Quality Store badge on Google Search, or even from a store's website.

Some of the key info on store pages is outlined below.

Rating and reviews

A business’ store rating is a score out of five. It’s based on a number of sources, including Google Customer Reviews and shopping reviews from supported review partners. Reviews from customers are available to read on the page.

Business identity attributes

Important: Self-identification is optional and is currently only available to stores based in the United States.

Stores can tell you about the identity of their businesses with one or more identity attributes:

  • Black-owned
  • Latino-owned
  • Veteran-owned
  • Women-owned
  • Small business

To find the business identity attributes, check below the store’s description in the “Overview” tab.

Store insights panel

The store insights panel shows you the overall shopping experience of an online store. Info is provided by the business or sourced from the web. It’s then rated in various categories based on how it compares to other stores on Google.

The ratings displayed are:

  • Exceptional: A business is amongst the very best in that area.
  • Great: A business is well above average.
  • Good: A business falls somewhere in the middle.
  • Fair: A business is below the average.
  • Low: A business is well below the average.

The categories measured are:

  • Shipping: The cost and speed of shipping options offered by a business. A higher rating indicates that a business offers fast and low-cost or no-cost options compared to others.
  • Returns: The cost of returns and the amount of time that a business will accept returns for. A higher rating indicates that a business offers no-cost or low-cost returns for a longer period compared to others.
  • Pricing: The cost of products that a business sells. A higher rating indicates that products are competitively priced compared to others.
  • Payment options: The number of payment types a business accepts. A higher rating indicates more payment types accepted, such as different credit cards, E-wallets, or 3rd party payment options like PayPal.
  • Website quality: Based on key website performance metrics. A higher rating may indicate things like easy navigation or an easy checkout experience.

Reviews of popular products

The reviews of popular products panel shows publicly available video reviews of a store's top-selling products. It displays a carousel of user-generated video reviews from video-sharing platforms across the web.

Through authentic and visual video reviews, you can build trust in a store and make more informed buying decisions.

Each product review video includes the following:

  • Video title
  • Video image
  • Video length
  • Content creator information
  • Video platform (for example, YouTube, TikTok, and others)
  • Time since video has been posted
