I want to get back to the table of contents without having to go back page by page

I bought a book of poems and for every poem I go to I have to scroll backwards page by page to get back to the table of contents. There is no setting or button that I can see that allows me to go straight back to the table of contents

While you are reading, tap in the middle of the page to bring up the Reading Menu.

In the bottom left corner is an icon that looks like three horizontal lines. Tap on that. That's the tablet of contents.
