App on Mobile Data

Google Apps not working on Mobile Data, but works on WiFi

NONE of Google Apps are working when using Mobile Data since recent weeks,
whereas all OTHER Apps are working using same mobile data at same time.

Using Android Lollipop (updated) OS.

But on WiFi Google Apps are working.....including other Apps as usual.

Have tried Troubleshooting explained in Google support site and other blogs too.

But no result....

Please look into this urgently.,.....

Thanks!

Hi DeeBee,

Thanks for reaching out to the Google Play Help Forum.

As only the Google apps aren't working using the mobile data, I'd suggest you trying these steps:

  1. Clear cache data for the Google Play Store app and Google Play Services (Go to Settings > Apps or Application Manager > Google Play Services > Clear cache > OK).

  2. Uninstall and reinstall the Play Store updates. (Go to Settings > Apps or Application Manager > Google Play Store app > Uninstall Updates > OK). As long as you have a strong Internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data), your Play Store app will update to the latest version within a few minutes.

  3. Install system updates. To do this, try the steps listed below:

  • Open your device's main Settings app.

  • Select About or System updates (depending on your device, this may be different).

  • If an update is available, follow the on-screen instructions to install it on your device.

If the issue persists, remove and add your Google Account to the device. Here's how:

 Remove Google Account:
  1. Open your device's Settings app.

  2. Under "Accounts," touch Google and then the account you want to remove.

  3. Touch the Menu icon in the top right corner of the screen.

  4. Touch Remove account.

Add Google Account:

  1. Open your device's Settings app.

  2. Under "Accounts," touch Add account > Google Google.

  3. Follow the instructions to add your account.

Let me know the progress.

Best,
Thompson

Hi DeeBee,

Thanks for your response and as the recommended steps didn't work, I'd recommend you Call Google Play Support for the best possible solution. If your country is not listed then use a country whose language you speak.

Have a great day!

Thompson

Member levels indicate a user's level of participation in a forum. The greater the participation, the higher the level. Everyone starts at level 1 and can rise to level 10. These activities can increase your level in a forum:

  • Post an answer.

  • Vote up a post.
  • Correctly mark a topic or post as abuse.

Having a post marked and removed as abuse will slow a user's advance in levels.
