Organise and sort books in your library

To make it easier to find a book, you can organise the books in your library. ​

Organise your books in groups

Create a shelf

1. Go to the Google Play Store.
2. At the top right, click your profile icon.
3. Click Library and devices  Books.
4. Change the 'Your books' filter to show Shelves.
5. Click Create shelf.
6. After you name your shelf, click OK.

Add books to a shelf

1. Go to Google Play Store.
2. At the top right, click your profile icon.
3. Click Library and devices  Books.
4. Find the book in your library.
5. Next to the book, click More   Add to shelves.
6. Select which shelf you want to add your book to, or create a new shelf.
7. Click Apply.

Filter books by genre, author, progress and more

1. ​On your computer, go to your Play Books library.
2. At the top, use the filters to find the book that you want.

Find books that you haven't read yet

1. Go to the Google Play Store.
2. At the top right, click your profile icon.
3. Click Library and devices  Books.
4. Click Settings  Beta features  Ready to read  Done.
5. If you have a book that you haven't read yet, you can find a 'Ready to read' shelf in your library.

Find all the books in a series

1. On your computer, go to your Play Books library.
2. At the top left, click All series.
3. Click the series name to get a list of all the books in that series.

Tip: This list displays all the books in the series, not just the ones that you own. You can filter by ownership and tap Purchases to see the books that you own.
