Watch movies & TV shows from your streaming apps

You can watch movies and TV shows from your streaming apps using the Google Play Movies & TV app.

Currently, you can watch movies and TV shows from the following apps.

  • Amazon Prime Video
  • A&E
  • BET Now
  • CBS
  • Crackle
  • Comedy Central
  • Cooking Channel
  • Disney Now
  • Disney+
  • DIY Network
  • Food Network
  • Fox Now
  • Hulu

  • Lifetime
  • Max Go
  • MTV
  • NBC
  • Showtime
  • Showtime Anytime
  • Starz
  • The CW
  • Travel Channel
  • Tubi TV
  • VH1

Watch movies or TV shows from other apps 

Inside the Google Play Movies and TV app, you can browse content from supported streaming services you subscribe to.

Manage or add your streaming services

  1. Open the Google Play Movies & TV app Play Movies.
  2. At the top, tap Menu Menu and then Manage services.
  3. Tap the services you want to add and then Next.
  4. Confirm if you have cable or satellite TV, so we can show content available only to paid TV subscribers.
  5. Tap Done

Watch movies or TV shows available for free

  1. Open the Google Play Movies & TV app Play Movies.
  2. At the top, tap Free.
  3. Search all movies or TV shows available for you to watch on other services.

Note: Tap Show all to find all available episodes, including episodes you will need a subscription service for.

Find movies or TV shows

  1. Open the Google Play Movies & TV app Play Movies.
  2. Search for a movie or TV show you want to watch.
  3. Choose a streaming app and tap Watch. If you don’t already have the streaming app, you'll be prompted to install it from Google Play. The movie or TV show will play from the streaming app.

Note: If the movie or TV show requires a subscription, you'll need to sign in or sign up for that service.
