Watch Google Play Movies on Movies Anywhere app

You can connect your Google Play account with Movies Anywhere and watch your eligible movies from either account. It doesn't matter if you bought the movies on Google Play or iTunes.

You can buy movies on Movies Anywhere, but you can’t rent. To buy or download using Movies Anywhere, you need to be running Android version 4.1 and up.

Connect your Google Play and Movies Anywhere accounts

For information about how to connect your Google Play account, go to Movies Anywhere Support.

My Movies Anywhere movies aren't showing in my Google Play account

Make sure you're signed in to the same Google Play account you connected to your Movies Anywhere account:

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Play Movies & TV app Play Movies.
  2. Tap Menu Menu and then Settings.
  3. Under "Connected Accounts," check for "Movies Anywhere."

Make sure you don't have the "Downloaded Only" option turned on. Here's how to check:

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Play Movies & TV app Play Movies.
  2. Tap Menu Menu.
  3. If the Downloaded only switch is on, tap it again to see all of your videos.
