Watch videos on the Movies Anywhere app with your Google Account

You can connect your Google Account with Movies Anywhere and watch your eligible movies from either account.

Fix problems with the Movies Anywhere app

My Movies Anywhere movies don’t appear in my Google apps

Step 1: Make sure you're signed in to the account you connected to your Movies Anywhere account:

  1. On your device, open Google Play Movies & TV Play Movies or Google TV .
  2. At the top, tap Menu Menu or your profile picture.
  3. Tap Settings or Google TV Settings.
  4. Under "Connected Accounts," check for "Movies Anywhere." If it’s not there, your accounts aren’t linked.

Step 2: Make sure the "Downloaded only" option is turned off:

  1. On your device, open Google Play Movies & TV Play Movies or Google TV .
  2. At the top, tap Menu Menu or your profile picture.
  3. Tap Settings or Google TV Settings.
  4. If Downloaded only is turned on, turn it off.
Problems when you play videos

If you have trouble when you play movies on the Movies Anywhere app:

  1. Play the video on Google Play Movies & TV Play Movies or Google TV .
  2. If the video works on Google Play Movies & TV or Google TV, go to Movies Anywhere Support for more troubleshooting information.
  3. If the video doesn't work in either app, go to our page about problems when you play videos, or contact Google Play support.
Change or disconnect your Google Account

Important: You can only connect one Google Account to your Movies Anywhere account. You can switch accounts once every 6 months.

  1. On your device, open Google Play Movies & TV Play Movies or Google TV .
  2. At the top, tap Menu Menu or your profile picture.
  3. Tap Settings or Google TV Settings.
  4. Under "Connected Accounts," tap Movies Anywhere and then Disconnect.
