Rental periods for movies & TV shows

When you rent a movie or TV show on Google Play or Google TV, there are 2 time periods that correspond to your rental.

  • Rental grant period: The amount of time you have to start your rental after you complete your transaction.
  • Rental active period: The amount of time you have to watch your rental after you first play your video.
Rental and purchase options can vary by country. Review rental periods before you complete your transaction.
Some products and features aren't available in all countries. Learn more about what's available in your country.
