Restart your Pixel Tablet

If you have problems with your Pixel Tablet, you can restart it. If you aren't going to use your tablet for an extended period of time, you can power it down to help preserve its battery life. If you continue to experience issues after a restart, you can reset your network or app settings.

How to restart your Pixel Tablet

  1. Swipe down from the top of your screen.
  2. Tap Power Power and then Restart .

Note: If you have a PIN, pattern, or password set up on your tablet, you'll need to enter it after a restart, even if you set up a fingerprint.

How to turn off your Pixel Tablet

  1. Swipe down from the top of your screen.
  2. Tap Power Power and then Power off Power.

To turn your tablet back on, press the power button on the edge of the tablet, near the rear camera.

Reset your network and app settings

Reset Wi-Fi and Bluetooth settings

If you experience issues with Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connections on your Pixel Tablet, you can reset your network and connection settings:

  1. Open your device's Settings app Settings app.
  2. Tap System and then Reset options and then Reset Bluetooth & Wi-Fi.
  3. Tap Reset and then follow the on-screen instructions.

Reset app preferences

If you experience issues with your apps, you can reset their preferences to restore your apps' restrictions, default actions, and settings to their default states.

Important: You won't lose any app data when you reset your app preferences.

  1. Open your device's Settings app Settings app.
  2. Tap System and then Reset options and then Reset app preferences.
  3. Tap Reset apps and then follow the on-screen instructions.
