Reopen your payments profile after you dispute a charge

When you dispute a charge from Google with your credit or debit card issuer, your payments profile is automatically closed in case of fraud. This means you may not be able to send or request money from users until your payments profile is reinstated.

How we verify

When we get your verification info, we check for signs of unauthorized access to your Google Pay account. If we find that your disputed charge was authorized, you might need to contact your bank and reverse the dispute chargeback before we reopen your profile.
