You can purchase goods and services directly from Google or third-party merchants in the Google Pay app.

The in-app purchase experience in Google Pay is one of the following:

• Created by Google for its own products or services.
• Built through collaboration with third-party merchants who provide the product or service.
• Directly takes you to an experience built, hosted, and provided by a third-party merchant.

Google or the third-party merchant could be the seller depending on the in-app purchase experience. Additional terms may apply.

Information about your purchases or other transactions on Google Pay with third-party merchants may be shared with Google Pay and used to provide updates and insights to you in the Google Pay app. Google will only share your information with a third-party merchant with your permission.

Delete transaction or purchase information

To delete your transaction or purchase information:

• From the Google Pay app, find the merchant you made the order or purchase with:
  1. Touch and hold the order or purchase you’d like to delete.
  2. Tap Delete.

• If you’d like to delete both your transaction and your purchase information:
  1. Go to the My Activity section of your Google Account.
  2. Find the order or purchase you’d like to delete.
  3. Select Delete .

Tip: A third-party is a partner, company or developer other than Google.

Depending on the Google Pay in-app purchase experience:

• The experience may be built, hosted, and provided by either Google or the third-party you’re transacting with.
• There may be terms of service from the third-parties you’re transacting with, in addition to any terms of service that you may agree to with Google.
• Your transaction or purchase activity may be collected by Google, or by both Google and the third-party merchant.

Google merchant features

Google merchant features on Google Pay are built and hosted by Google to enable in-app purchases for Google products or services. The Google Pay Terms of Service apply and other additional terms may also apply depending on the Google merchant feature. You will have the opportunity to review all applicable terms of service before you accept.

Third-party merchant features

Third-party merchant features on Google Pay are built, hosted, and the product or service is provided by a partner, company or developer other than Google. When you use a third-party merchant feature, the third party’s Terms of Service apply in addition to the Google Pay Terms of Service.

To help provide you with updates in Google Pay, the third- party merchant may share your activity with Google.

Third-party merchant features with Google

For third-party merchant features with Google, the actual product or service is provided by a third party, while the merchant features are built and hosted by Google for use on Google Pay or online. The third party’s Terms of Service apply in addition to the Google Pay Terms of Service.

For third-party merchant features, both the third-party and Google have information about your purchase. To help provide you with updates in Google Pay, the third-party merchant may share additional information with Google. For example, the third-party merchant may share when your food order is out for delivery.
