You can teach Google News what you want to read by using it. More use helps 'For you' get better. You can also directly tell Google News what you like.

By story
- Under a story that you like, tap More

- Find a topic, place or publication that you like. Either:
- At the top, tap Search
. Enter your interest or tap a listed interest.
- At the bottom, tap Newsstand
Popular. Scroll down and tap a listed interest.
- At the top, tap Search
- Tap Follow

See fewer stories that you won’t like
- Under a story that you don’t like, tap More
- To see fewer stories like it, tap Fewer stories like this

To stop following an interest, open it and tap Following

You can see your searches and other activity saved to your Google Account in My Activity. Google News can personalise based on some of those activities.
