• You used a Google Account to purchase your subscription.

Nest Aware Plus:

• You have one subscription for all Nest cameras in your home.
• Your subscription covers 60 days of event video history and 10 days of continuous video recording.
• You used a Google Account to purchase your subscription.

Nest Aware (1st gen):

• You have separate subscriptions for each Nest camera in your home.
• Your subscription covers 5, 10, or 30 days of continuous video recording.
• You used a non-migrated Nest Account to purchase your subscription.

Why should I switch to the latest Nest Aware if I have a Nest Aware (1st gen) subscription?

Now is a good time to consider upgrading your current 1st-generation plan to the latest version of Nest Aware. By switching to the latest Nest Aware subscription, you'll now enjoy a simpler single flat rate that covers all your compatible Nest cameras, speakers, doorbells, and displays. You'll also gain access to a growing number of new, intelligent alerts and features, such as sound detection and emergency calling (US only).

Will I save money if I switch to the latest Nest Aware plan?

If you're currently on a Nest Aware (1st gen) plan, you can save money or pay the same by switching to the latest Nest Aware plan.

For example, if you have 3 cameras, you will save money by switching to either the latest Nest Aware or Nest Aware Plus. If you have one camera, you will pay the same amount if you switch to the latest Nest Aware with 30 days of event video history that covers all your compatible devices or stay on your current Nest Aware (1st gen) plan with continuous video history (Learn more about the types of video history).

You'll also be able to unlock access to a growing number of intelligent alerts. If you're currently on a 5-day (1st gen) plan, you'll get additional days of continuous video history with Nest Aware Plus.

How do I switch to the latest Nest Aware?

To switch to the latest version of Nest Aware, start by migrating to a Google Account (if you haven't already). You'll get a prorated refund for the unused time on your previous subscription.

How can I keep 24/7 video history if I switch to the latest Nest Aware?

With a Nest Aware Plus subscription, you'll get 10 days of 24/7 continuous video history for all your wired Google Nest cameras and doorbells, along with 60 days of event video history.
