Nest Renew early preview

Nest Renew, a service for compatible Nest thermostats, is rolling out in early preview to customers by invitation.1 Nest Renew Basic will be free. And for $10/month, extend your positive impact even further with Renew Premium by matching your home's estimated fossil fuel-based electricity consumption with renewable energy credits to help choose a clean energy future.2,3

Prioritize cleaner energy

Energy Shift can work with your compatible Nest thermostat to help you automatically prioritize usage of cleaner energy with your heating and cooling.

Nest Renew also helps you know when the electricity coming into your home is cleaner, and when it’s not so clean, so you can make more informed choices about how you use energy.

To take advantage of this feature you’ll need to provide your time-of-use rate code in the Nest Renew portal and it must be a time-of-use rate that is supported by Nest Renew.
