Understanding results

  • High: Your body may have been persistently working harder than it should to pump blood. This estimate is based on patterns in your heart and motion data. The app recommends you take 7 days of readings using a physical blood pressure cuff and share the results with your physician. If you are experiencing severe symptoms like chest pain or shortness of breath, seek immediate medical care.
  • Not high: Shows typical trends without unexpected elevation.
  • Not enough data: Displayed when passive data falls below the minimum required wear time.

Lifestyle recommendations

Key habits ordered by potential impact on blood pressure:

  • Activity: Prioritize aerobic exercises. These exercises are specifically designed to improve heart strength and arterial efficiency.
  • Nutrition: Manage sodium and potassium intake. Following the DASH (Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension) diet is established as an effective strategy.
  • Sleep & stress management: Prioritize sleep consistency. Practice rapid stress-reduction techniques (such as box-breathing methods) to help lower blood pressure.
