I set up an account thinking I would be paid for clicks, not charged for them. I'm not going to dispute the several charges I have received as I understand how it may have been a misunderstanding on my part. I just want to stop any further charges on my card. I have paused my "campaign" but am not convinced that I won't be charged again. I don't want to delete the campaign until I know I don't owe anything. It was an honest mistake. I tried calling the contact number, but they are reluctant to help and refer me to this which is not helpful to me.

Hi Chelsea,
 
Typically there will be clicks you received between the last time you were billed, and when you paused the ads.
 
You will also pay for those clicks, typically 30 days after you were last billed. Then you will be all square.

Thank you for replying. 

I thought I saw something under my account billing section that I had to pay until I reached $500.00 and if I cancelled I would have to pay whats left owing within 30 days? That's what confused me.

Google Ads has a threshold. You pay whenever you reach that threshold, or every 30 days, whichever happens first.

Google keeps a track of how much you owe. If that amount reaches the threshold, your payment details are charged (credit card or whatever).
 
If you do not reach the threshold after 30 days, you are charged for what you owe.

I don't know why, but I am so new at this that I still don't understand. 
I don't understand what I owe or how I owe or what I've done to even owe anything.
As mentioned, this was a complete honest mistake and I just want to not be charged anything moving forward. How can I be sure of this? 
Why isn't their a direct e-mail of someone I can contact :(

In your original post you acknowledged that you made a mistake. And you don't wish to dispute the charges already received.
 
To find out if you still owe anything, log into your Google Ads account and go to Tools and Settings (at the top of the page) > Billing > Summary
 
It says Your Balance, which is how much you still owe, and says when your last payment was.

Correct. I don't wish to dispute previous charges because I recognize this was done out of my own stupidity by accident. Seems there is no one available anyways to speak to more directly it would be way to stressful to even attempt to get a refund by disputing the charges. 
I have attached a screenshot of the billing summary page that I see from my end. 
I just want my entire account cancelled, but I fear being charged $500.00 upon cancelling and I cannot afford that......

Your screenshot is missing the balance amount.
 
But is says you owe $1.44, which will be for clicks received after July 31.
 
If you cancel your Google Ads account today, you will be charged $1.44. 
 
You won't be charged $500, don't worry about that.

Wow, that last post was not from my but its under my name.  I called the support number 1-844-291-7391 and John was less than helpful.  He said there was no one there that could help me right now and get on the chatline.  Thanks for your help John.  You are about as classless as they come.
