Multiple websites - one Google Ads account?

Hello! 

I need some help with multiple business' and Google Ads shopping campaigns. 

I currently have a website that sells iPhone cases/iPad cases for women. They're feminine, pink & generally 'girly' even the website branding is pink. Basically it's made for, and targeting women. 

I want to set up a new business/website selling the same items, but this time it's for men and in particular the football/soccer market. It will be teams kits printed on the cases. 

I would have 2 different websites, two different domains and totally different markets/business' and branding, the only similarity would be that they're phone cases etc. 

My question is, would I be able to run two smart shopping campaigns through my one Google Ads account. (I know I'd need to convert my Merchant account into an advanced to allow multiple feeds) is this correct? 

But my biggest worry is; is this against policy of 'multiple websites having similar content' or 'gaming the system' as they're printed phone cases?

Hi Dean,

My opinion here is that ideally it is the same business (phone cases), but the persona is different (male versus female). This can be easily accommodated inside a single website with multiple sections of your phone cases. As per my understanding, there is no option to verify multiple domains in a single Merchant Center account. So it is better to keep a single domain and add multiple sections and then verify it inside the Merchant center account and link it back to Google Ads and start creating multiple shopping campaigns based on different filters.

Also I wouldn't recommend running two different sets of conversion from two different websides in one Google Ads account. This calls for problems. It's better to do it like Pankaj said or create another Google Ads account.

Thank you for your reply. 

Adding them all to one site is not an option for me (I would rather just not start the new business) as this would kill the womens brand I've built up. It would be the equivalent of football shirts to Gucci or Chanel's website, it would be out of place. It would require a whole website re-branding and name re-branding. The same would happen the other way around as I want to brand the sports website around classic retro football shirts, and if I were to add a pink lipstick phone case on there it would be totally out of place, throw the customer off - and ROAS in the bin.

Is an advanced merchant centre not an option for me as this allows multiple domains to link to one add account?

"A Merchant Center advanced account setup allows a single person or company to manage data for more than one account by submitting data feeds for multiple website domains. (Each sub-account can have a distinct store name and a unique website URL.)"

Note: Avoid having multiple websites that contain similar content, as that could lead to account disapproval. Learn more about our policies on duplicate content

Be cautious of what you really want to do.

You should be fine with the advanced account setup:
 
It is the proper solution for your situation.
 
Just make sure that all the content on each site is unique. That is better for SEO as well... So don't copy supplier words that might appear on other sites selling the same thing.
