Important: Google Ads Editor allows you to post anything for the "Category" value. However, to ensure that your ads are targeted properly, we recommend that you check your Google Ads account for categories that the Dynamic Search Ads system has identified. (Entering your own category instead of choosing from Google Ads' categories might prevent the system from properly targeting sections of your website.)
  1. Sign in to your Google Ads account.
  2. Select the Auto targets tab, then select Add dynamic ad target > Add a group of webpages.
  3. Select CATEGORY from the drop-down menu to view a list of categories identified by the ads system.
