Set your bid strategy (Google Ads mobile app)

Here's how to edit your campaign bid strategy in the app:

  1. Sign in to your Google Ads account.
  2. Navigate to the Campaigns page and select the campaign you'd like to edit.
  3. Tap the gear icon Settings in the top right of the screen.
  4. Tap on your current bid strategy under the Bidding section.
  5. Follow the prompts on screen to select your bidding strategy.
  6. Tap Save.

About portfolio bid strategies

Portfolio bid strategies are automated, goal-driven bid strategies that help you optimize bids across multiple campaigns. They automatically set bids for every auction to help you reach your performance goals, and provide a single place for you to quickly change bidding settings for all campaigns that use a single portfolio bid strategy.

Use an existing portfolio bid strategy

  1. Sign in to your Google Ads account.
  2. Navigate to Campaigns page and select the campaign you'd like to edit.
  3. Tap the gear icon Settings in the top right of the screen.
  4. Select Use a portfolio strategy and apply a portfolio strategy from your library. If this option is not shown, first tap Or select a bid strategy directly. Note that you must have an existing portfolio strategy to select one in app.
  5. Tap Save.
