Google Partners badge guidelines

The Google Partner badge and the Premier Google Partner badge are granted to companies in the Google Partners program who have qualified for Partner status. Partners who've earned either badge can add it to their website, other online properties, and offline marketing materials to show that Google recognizes their company as a Google Partner with badge status. This article contains information on how you can use the badges.

Before you begin

Guidelines

  • Only companies that have earned the Google Partner or the Premier Google Partner badge status can display the Google Partner badge or the Premier Google Partner badge.
  • Companies that have earned the Google Partner badge or the Premier Google Partner badge must follow the guidelines below. You may not use either badge in any way other than as specified in these guidelines. Failure to comply with these guidelines shall constitute a breach of the Google Partners Terms of Service.
  • In general, you cannot show the Google Partner badge or the Premier Google Partner badge in any manner that implies a relationship or affiliation with Google. For example, the badge cannot be used in a way which may indicate that Google sponsors your company or endorses any of your products, services, or information provided.
  • Additionally, the badge cannot be used in a way that can be reasonably interpreted to suggest editorial content has been authored by or represents the views or opinions of Google or Google personnel.

Which badge to show

The dynamic badge shows your company’s name and specializations when someone hovers over the dots in the right corner.

You must use the dynamic badge on your company website and the additional domains your company admin added as sites to show the badge. Note: In June 2021, you can start earning the new Google Partner badge and accessing the new badge assets on the Badge status page.

 

The static badge lists the specializations your company has earned at the bottom.

You must use the static badge on printed marketing materials and online properties such as social media pages, and other media. Note: In June 2021, you can start earning the new Google Partner badge and accessing the new badge assets on the Badge status page.

You cannot use the static badge on your company website or the websites that your company admin added as additional domains to show the badge.

Where to show the badges

Websites

You must use the dynamic version of the Google Partner badge or the Premier Google Partner badge on your company website and any additional domains added. You cannot imitate the badge in any manner on your company website or the additional domains.

You cannot show the Google Partner or the Premier Google Partner badge on any website that violates any law or regulation, or otherwise violates Google's editorial policies.

You cannot show the Google Partner or the Premier Google Partner badge on any materials, such as websites, that contain or display the following:

  • Adult content
  • Promotes gambling
  • Involves the sale of tobacco or alcohol to persons under 21 years of age

You cannot show the Google Partner or the Premier Google Partner badge on any materials, such as websites, that advertise Search Engine Optimization (SEO) services without a prominent notice saying such SEO services are not verified or endorsed by Google.

Marketing materials

You must use the static version of the Google Partner badge or the Premier Google Partner badge in your marketing materials to indicate that you've earned the distinction of qualifying as a Google Partner or a Premier Google Partner. You cannot, however, imitate the badge in any manner in your materials.

Here are some examples of marketing materials where you can show the badge:

  • Business cards
  • Emails
  • Linked Google+ page
  • Presentation materials for clients
  • Resume
  • Letterhead stationery

If you show the Google Partner or the Premier Google Partner badge on online materials or in emails, it must link to your company's Partner public profile page.

How to show the badges

Appearance

You can resize the Google Partner or the Premier Google Partner badge to fit on your marketing materials as long as you maintain the aspect ratio and colors of the badge.
If you are using the Google Partner or the Premier Google Partner badge on a webpage, there must exist a minimum spacing that is no less than 1/2 the height of the badge between each side of the badge and other graphic or textual elements on your webpage.
If you are using the Google Partner or the Premier Google Partner badge on any collateral, you must include your own company branding.
You cannot remove, distort, or alter any element of the Google Partner or the Premier Google Partner badge. For example, you cannot change the colors of the badge or alter the position of the "Google" logo.
You cannot translate the badge or otherwise localize it into any other language.

You cannot display the Google Partner or the Premier Google Partner badge as the most prominent element in your marketing materials, including your website, or so that it appears larger or more prominent than your own name or logos.

You cannot frame or mirror any Google page (including the page that appears in response to a click on the Google logo or Google search box).

General guidelines

You cannot incorporate the Google Partner or the Premier Google Partner badge or elements of the badge into your own logos.
You cannot put the Google Partner or the Premier Google Partner badge on any products or promotional items.
You cannot display the Google Partner or the Premier Google Partner badge in a manner that is in Google's sole opinion misleading, defamatory, infringing, libelous, disparaging, obscene, or otherwise objectionable to Google.
