When applying for permission to advertise healthcare-related content on Google AdWords, we often get applications that are filed by agencies representing clients. It’s important that we have confirmation that the client company authorizes their agency to apply on their behalf.
If you’re an agency, ask your client to write a letter with their company letterhead, using the exact template below by replacing the bracketed text with their information, and save it as a PDF. Then upload the letter PDF to our application form. Emails are not sufficient, and can’t be used as proof of authorization.

I confirm that [insert the domain name of your brand’s website] is the property of my employer, who has authorized me to act on their behalf with regard to the application of our agency, [insert name of the agency you have employed to manage your AdWords activity], for healthcare-related certification of the above AdWords account.
I understand that I need to contact Google AdWords if I wish to have the certificate removed from the account. Please process the certificate and apply it to the above account.
