How to Sign into Google Ads

Additional sign-in options

Access multiple Google Ads accounts from the same Google Account

If you have a Google Account, you can access multiple Google Ads accounts without having to sign out and back in again by associating those Google Ads accounts with the Google Account email address. This is helpful if you manage multiple businesses with separate Google Ads accounts, but don’t want to create new Google Accounts (or email addresses) to access each of your Google Ads accounts.

Note

If you have a manager account, you can use the same email address for your manager account and your Google Ads accounts.

To switch to another Google Ads account without signing out:

  1. Click your profile image in the top right.
  2. You’ll see a list of the Google Ads accounts associated with your current Google account.
  3. Click the account that you want to access.

If your Google Ads accounts are linked to different Google accounts, you can also access these different Google accounts, and associated Google Ads accounts, without having to sign out and back in again.

To sign in to multiple Google Accounts:

  1. Click your profile image in the top right.
  2. Click Add Google account.
  3. Enter the email address for the account, and click Next.
  4. Enter the password for the account, and click Next.

Once you’re signed in to more than one account in the same browser, you can switch accounts by clicking your profile image at the top of the page, and selecting the account that you want to access. If you sign in to an account that isn't yet associated with a Google Ads account, you'll be directed to a Google Ads sign-up page.

Bear in mind:

  • Multiple sign-in doesn't merge account data, and it doesn't give one account access to another.
  • Multiple sign-in is most convenient to use on devices that you don't share with other people.
  • If you're an agency or manage multiple Google Ads accounts, a manager account could save you time by letting you view and easily manage all of your Google Ads accounts from one account. Learn how to create a manager account.

Sign in with an alternative email address for your Google Account

If you've added an alternative email address to your Google Account, you can use that alternative email address to sign in to Google Ads. Your password will be the same as the password for your primary email address.

Tips

  • Your Google Account allows access to most Google products, so we recommend you don't share your password with anyone.
  • Enable 2-step verification in your Google Account for additional security. This verification process requires you to have access to your phone (or backup verification codes if you don't have access to your phone), username and password when you sign in to your account.
  • Adding a current recovery phone number is an easy way to help recover access to your account. Learn how to add your recovery phone number to your account.
