One.com: Set up your Google tag

You can measure behavioural data about your site with Google Ads and Google Analytics. Follow the steps in this article to set up your Google tag with One.com.

Before you begin

You can integrate your One.com account with Google Ads or Google Analytics for free. To set up the integration, you’ll need a valid Google sign-in, a Google-provided JavaScript code box and an active One.com account.

This integration is native to One.com and will allow you to track 'Sales' or 'Page view' key events. Additional features (like enhanced e-commerce functionality) can be accessed after setup. 

The instructions for setting up the Google tag with One.com are different for tag IDs starting with "AW-" (usually, Google Ads accounts) and tag IDs starting with "G-" (usually, Google Analytics properties).

If you have a tag ID starting with 'AW-'

  1. Sign into your One.com account.
  2. From the One.com dropdown menu on the right side of the page, click Website Builder.
  3. From the menu on the left, click Marketing and SEO.
  4. Click on Google Ads. Follow the steps to connect your site to Google Ads.

If you have a tag ID starting with 'G-'

  1. Sign into your One.com account.
  2. From the One.com dropdown menu on the right side of the page, click Website Builder.
  3. From the menu on the left, click Website settings. Select Connections from the dropdown menu.
  4. On the 'Connections' page, paste your G-id in the 'Google Analytics tracking ID' field under Google Analytics.
  5. Click Save.
