Hide and unhide billing setups

If the "Billing setups" page of your Manager account lists a number of billing setups that you're no longer using, you can hide them to show a more relevant view of your billing setups. This will also allow you to prevent using an incorrect or obsolete billing setup during new account signup.

This article explains how to hide and unhide billing setups.

Instructions

You can hide or unhide billing setups from the "Billing setups" page of your Manager account. Hiding billing setups will remove them from view in both the "Billing setups" page and during a new account setup/account transfer.

If you ever want to check which of your billing setups are hidden without actually unhiding any hidden billing setups, you can choose to show hidden billing setups using the Visibility filter on the "Billing setups" page.

To hide billing setups:

Note: The instructions below are part of the new design for the Google Ads user experience. To use the previous design, click the "Appearance" icon, and select Use previous design. If you're using the previous version of Google Ads, review the Quick reference map or use the Search bar in the top navigation panel of Google Ads to find the page you’re searching for.
  1. In your Google Ads manager account, click the Billing icon Billing Icon.
  2. Click Billing setups to check the list of Billing setups linked to your manager account.
  3. Check the box next to the billing setups you want to hide.
  4. Click Edit and select Hide from the drop-down.

To show hidden billing setups:

  1. In your Google Ads manager account, click the Billing icon Billing Icon.
  2. Click Billing setups to check the list of Billing setups linked to your manager account.
  3. Click the Visibility filter and select All or Hidden from the drop-down.

To unhide billing setups:

  1. In your Google Ads manager account, click the Billing icon Billing Icon.
  2. Click Billing setups to check the list of Billing setups linked to your manager account.
  3. Check the box next to the billing setups you want to unhide (make sure you are viewing All or Hidden setups).
  4. Click Edit and select Unhide from the drop-down.
