Step 1: Upload your files

You can choose one of two options below to upload your files.

 

1. Download the existing ad campaign file and upload it right away(currently Naver search ad campaign supported)

Start downloading your files in the window. You can download files from multiple Naver ad campaigns at the same time.

After downloading, the application will check your files for errors. If errors are found, you can view detailed information about them in the list of downloaded files.

This Advertisement Migration Tool does not provide any confirmation or warranty as to whether the customer has the right to download and use the existing campaign files for registration purpose, and neither the descriptions or examples below imply such confirmation or warranty. This is for each customer to self-check in accordance with the existing campaign terms and conditions.

Instructions

1. Download files from Naver to your computer.
2. Upload files to the app.
3. Wait while the app checks your files. If you find any errors in the files you downloaded, you will need to fix them.
4. Click Continue to proceed, you will then need to select the campaigns to convert.

Upload Files from Naver

The Ad conversion tool is capable of recognizing ad campaign files from Naver in CSV, ZIP and TSV format.

1. Upload the first keyword file, follow the steps below:
   1. Click on Tools section and select Bulk Jobs.
   2. Select the required campaign and click Download.
   3. Wait until the download is complete in the “Job status” column, and download the file with the keywords.
2. Download a file with announcements, follow these steps:
   1. Click the Reports section and select Mass Download Report.
   2. Click on the drop down menu next to “metrics.” Select Ad master and click Create.
   3. Wait for the download to finish and download the announcement file.

Upload files to the application

Drag and drop 2 files (with keywords and announcements) with the mouse to the area indicated by the dotted line.

or

1. Click on the Upload the files from your computer button.
2. Select the files in the folder on your computer.

The files will start downloading. You can track the download status as a percentage in the upper right corner of the screen.

You can add additional files during download, and then checkout.

Check statuses

You can check the status of each file which is displayed in the table.

There are four validation statuses in the application:

• Uploaded: There are no errors in your file, all the data from this file will be converted to the Google Ads format.
• Passed verification (there are warnings): Data from the file will be processed, but some of the ads will not be migrated because they do not meet the requirements of Google Ads.
• Errors found: The file cannot be converted to the Google Ads format because it contains critical errors.
• Unknown format (upload error): The ad conversion tool cannot process the file you uploaded. You must download a file in the correct format.

To view the warnings for a file, click on the link with the number of warnings. You will see a pop-up with a list of warnings that do not affect uploads to Google Ads. The warning file will be converted, except for the data listed in the warnings.

To view the list of errors, click on the link with the number of errors. A pop-up window with a list of errors will be displayed. The list contains the line number and description of the error.

In order to convert the file, fix all the listed errors and download the corrected file.

Remove files from the application

Click on the trash icon  . The file will be removed from the download list.

Download requirements

• The Ad conversion tool allows you to download files from Naver in CSV, ZIP and TSV format.
• The upload file size must not exceed 80 MB.
• To migrate a search campaign, you must use a search campaign from Naver.

2. Upload campaign files using common templates

Download the template. The template comes in XLSX format and allows you to manually input the essential information to start your Google Ads search advertising campaign.

How to upload files to the Ads Migration Tool: 

Download template file, enter the information of your ad campaign and upload the template. Drag the mouse to the area marked by the dotted line.

Upload File Requirements

Please note that XLSX files cannot exceed 10 MB.
