Register a Google Ads account

Ads are distinguished on three levels: account, campaigns, and ad groups.

  • An account is associated with a unique email address, password, and billing information.
  • A campaign has a separate budget and targeting settings that determine where your ads appear.
  • An ad group includes a list of keywords that trigger ad serving and a set of similar ads.

Import things to know about your account:

  • A Google account is the username and password used to access various Google services, including Google Ads.
  • Your Google account stores your general settings, such as your display language and some privacy settings.
  • If you signed up for a Google Ads account or signed into another Google service, you already have a Google account.
  • You can link up to five Google Ads accounts, including managers, to a Google Account.
  • You can change your Google account information at any time on your account page.
  • Google Ads is an online advertising program from Google that allows you to create effective ads and serve them to the exact audience they might be interesting for.

Instructions

1. Create a Google Ads Account

If you don't have an active Google Account, follow our instructions to create one.

Account users who have an email address and a website can create a Google Ads account.

  1. Click on Create Google Account.
  2. The Registration window will appear. Specify your Name, Surname, think of an email address, password.
  3. Click Next.
  4. Provide a phone number.
  5. To confirm your phone number, a 6-digit code will be sent to the phone number that you indicated during registration, type the code into the designated space. Click Next.
  6. Fill in your backup email address. This will create additional protection, allowing you to recover your account and receive alerts from Google. Click Next.
  7. Read the Privacy Policy and Terms of use.
  8. Congratulations, your new Google Account has been created!

2. Register a Google Ads Account

  1. Go to the Google Ads Account Registration page.
  2. Click on the Start now button. (If you already have an account click Sign in)
  3. On the next page:
    • Enter the email address you will use to sign into Google Ads.
    • Click on your main marketing goal.
    • Click Continue.
  4. Enter your company name and your website

3. Create your first ad campaign

To proceed to the next step:

  1. Select the geographical location of your business.
  2. Set keywords.
  3. Create ad text.
  4. Add a phone number to appear in your ad.
  5. Enter your daily budget and currency.
  6. Click Next.
