1. Can I migrate Naver campaigns using the ad migration tool?

Yes. With the help of this ad migration tool, you can migrate  search campaigns from Naver to Google Ads.

2. Why should I register if I already have Gmail?

You need to be signed in to Google Ads for the ad migration tool to migrate campaigns into your account. If you don't have a Google Ads account, you'll need to create one first.

3. Why can't I upload my campaigns to the ad migration tool?

The ad migration tool supports uploading CSV or XLS / XLSX files exported from Naver.

Make sure that the files have been downloaded completely, aren’t damaged, and have not been changed after downloading them from Naver. See Uploading files for details.

4. Why are there errors in the campaigns I've downloaded?

The files may have been damaged or changed. You may have exported ad campaigns that were created a long time ago. In this case, the export file format does not meet the current requirements.

5. Is it safe to upload my campaigns to Google Ads?

The information we use may include Google customer identification numbers and information about converted advertisements and campaigns. Google uses this information to provide, maintain and optimize our services. This practice also helps us measure performance while protecting Google, advertisers and others.

6. Can I migrate campaigns for multiple client accounts at once?

If you have an agent account in Naver and you manage campaigns for several client accounts, we recommend migrating data for only one client account at a time.

7. Why are my campaign names showing a bunch of numbers?

If campaigns were exported from Naver, campaign IDs were substituted for the campaign names.

8. What is the budget for campaigns?

If campaigns have not been split and you are using a daily budget in Naver, set the same budget.

If you are using a weekly budget in Naver, specify the corresponding daily budget.

9. Why can't I change the currency for the budget?

The campaign currency is set automatically according to the currency of your Google Ads account.

If your Naver and Google Ads accounts use different currencies, bid amounts will be automatically converted. For example, if your Naver  account is set to US dollars and Google Ads is set to wan, you will see the budget currency - won and rates in wan, modified at the current USD exchange rate.

10. Can I change my budget later?

Yes, you can change your budget later in Google Ads or Google Ads Editor.

11. Why does my campaign need add-ons?

The format of campaigns in Naver and Google Ads is different. After loading campaigns, you need to make changes to campaign settings, ad texts and titles, displayed links, and other campaign settings. For more information, see Migration considerations for Google Ads.

12. How can I change settings for all campaigns at once?

Make the desired changes to the settings for one campaign and save them. You can then apply these settings to all campaigns in the list. Use the Apply settings to all campaigns button. For more information, see How to apply settings to all campaigns.

13. How do I change parameters for multiple ads at once?

To change parameters for multiple ads, select ads from the list. To select ads that require add-ons, you need to select the Add-ons only option and then select all ads in the list by checking the box next to the ad list title. Click on any ad, make additions following the prompts, and save. For details, see How to edit multiple ads at the same time.

14. Why can't I see my campaigns?

If you don't see some campaigns, check to see if there is a filter on the list of campaigns.

You can find detailed instructions on how to change the display filter here.

15. Will bid adjustments and schedule adjustments carry over?

The migration tool for Google Ads supports uploading CSV or XLS / XLSX files exported from Naver.
