Factory reset your device

To clear your device of all account information, photos, and videos from your Glass device, Factory Reset your device from the Device info card in settings.

Before continuing, make sure your pictures and videos have synced to your Google+ account and/or back up your files manually by attaching Glass to your computer using the included USB cable.

  1. Tap the touchpad to activate Glass.
  2. From the Home screen, swipe backward on the touchpad until you see the Settings bundle.
  3. Tap into the Setting bundle and swipe forward until you see the Device Info card.
  4. Tap again and swipe forward until you see Factory Reset.

Once reset, you can set up a new account on Glass by returning to the setup process via the MyGlass app on your Android phone or iPhone or through the MyGlass site.

Factory reset can also be done through Recovery Mode.
