You can create captivating images in seconds with Gemini Apps. From work, play, or anything in between, Gemini Apps can help you generate images to help bring your imagination to life.

Be sure not to violate others' copyright or privacy rights. Use your discretion before you rely on, publish, or use content that Gemini Apps generate. What you need
- Image generation in Gemini Apps is available in most countries, except France and French territories.
- This feature’s availability in any specific Gemini app is also limited to the supported languages and countries of that app.
- For now, this feature isn’t available to users under 18.
- To generate images featuring people, upgrade to Gemini Advanced.
Generate & review images
Important: For now, you can’t generate images when using a Gem.
In the Gemini web app
- On your iPhone or iPad, go to gemini.google.com.
- Enter your prompt to generate an image. Check tips for image generation prompts.
In the Gemini mobile app
- On your iPhone, open Gemini .
- Enter your prompt to generate an image. Check tips for image generation prompts.
- Optionally, for more images, tap Generate more .
- To get a larger version of an image, tap it.
- To go back to the chat, tap Back .
In the Gemini tab in the Google app
- On your iPhone phone, open the Google app .
- At the top, tap Gemini .
- Enter your prompt to generate an image. Check tips for image generation prompts.

Generate content with images
In the Gemini web app
- On your iPhone or iPad, go to gemini.google.com.
- Enter your prompt to generate text with images.
- Tip: In your prompt, ask it to write a story, blog post, or other content and add “and generate images for it.”
- Example: Write a social media post and generate a mouthwatering image that I can use for a buffalo wing festival.
- To change an image in the response:
- Tap the image you want to change.
- Select the image you want or tap Generate more .
- After you select an image, tap Update.
Download generated images
In the Gemini web app
The full size images are downloaded only when you download images one at a time.
- To download a single image: tap the image you want to download, and at the top, tap Download full size .
- To download all images at once: below the generated images, tap Share & export Download all images .
In the Gemini mobile app
Important: The option to download all images at once isn’t currently available on the Gemini mobile apps.

Tips for image generation prompts
- Start your prompt with words like draw, generate, and create.
- Describe the image style you want. Here are a few examples: photorealistic, charcoal drawing, watercolor painting, cartoon illustration.
- Include a detailed visual description of what you want in the image. This can include the subject of the image, what the subject is doing, and the background or setting.
Why Gemini Apps might remove an image
Gemini Apps may remove images for prompts when our systems detect a possible violation of Google's Terms of Service, including the Prohibited Use Policy.
