How do I see the time on my Fitbit device?

To see the time on your Fitbit device, turn your wrist to wake the screen. On certain Fitbit devices, you can also turn on always-on display to keep the time visible.

How do I adjust screen wake settings?

Adjust this feature directly on your wrist or in the Fitbit app depending on your device.

On-device

If your device isn't listed below, see the instructions to turn off this feature in the Fitbit app.

Ace , Inspire, Inspire HR, and Inspire 2
Press and hold the button or buttons and tap Screen Wake .
Blaze
Swipe to Settings and then Quick View
Charge 3 and Charge 4
Press and hold the button and swipe left, then tap Screen Wake .
Charge 5, Charge 6, and Luxe
On the clock screen, swipe down from the top of the screen to access quick settings and then tap Screen Wake .
  • When you set Screen Wake to Auto , the screen turns on each time you turn your wrist.
  • When you set Screen Wake to Manual , firmly tap the screen twice to turn on the screen.
Inspire 3

On the clock screen, swipe down from the top of the screen to access quick settings and then tap Auto Wake .

  • When Auto Wake is On, the screen turns on each time you turn your wrist.

  • When Auto Wake is Off, firmly tap the screen twice or press the buttons to turn on the screen.

Sense series and Versa series

Open the quick settings on your watch:

  • Versa, Versa Lite Edition, and Versa 2—Swipe down from the top of the screen, and tap the quick settings icon .

  • Sense and Versa 3—Swipe right from the clock face.
  • Sense 2 and Versa 4—Swipe down from the clock face.

In the quick settings screen, tap the screen wake icon  to adjust the setting.

  • When you set Screen Wake to Auto (Motion), the screen turns on each time you turn your wrist.
  • When you set Screen Wake to Manual (Button), press the button to turn on the screen.
Fitbit app
  1. From the Today tab  in the Fitbit app, tap the devices icon  and then your device.
  2. Find the option to turn off Quick View .

Can I keep the clock display on?

To keep the clock visible at all times, turn on the always-on display setting.

Always-on display impacts your device's battery. When always-on display is turned on, your device requires more frequent charging.
Charge 5, Charge 6, Inspire 3, and Luxe
  1. Swipe down from the clock face to access quick settings.
  2. Tap the Settings app  and then Display settings and then Always-on display.
  3. Tap Always-on display to turn the setting on or off. To set the display to automatically turn off during certain hours, tap Off-hours.

Clock faces without an always-on display mode use a default always-on display clock face.

Always-on display automatically turns off when your tracker's battery is critically low.

Sense and Versa 3
  1. Swipe right from the clock face to open your quick settings.
  2. Tap the always-on display icon .

To exit the always-on display and interact with your watch, turn your wrist toward you, press the button, or double-tap the display.

Sense 2 and Versa 4
  1. Swipe down from the clock face to open your quick settings.
  2. Tap the always-on display icon .

  1. Swipe down from the top of your screen. After your notifications appear, swipe down again to open the control center. Tap the quick settings icon .
  2. In the quick settings screen, tap the always-on display icon .
  3. To set off-hours when the always-on display automatically turns off, open the Settings app  and then Always-On Display and then Customize.

Many clock faces have their own always-on display mode. If a clock face doesn’t have this feature, you see the default always-on display clock face. To adjust what’s shown on the default always-on display clock, open the Settings app  and then Always-On Display and then Customize.

Clock style Choose between a digital or analog clock face.
Status bar Turn on the battery indicator.
Core Stats Show your progress toward 2 core stats of your choice.
Off-hours Set the display to automatically turn off during certain hours.

Always-on display automatically turns off when your watch's battery is critically low.
