GFiber Business installation requirements

The process of getting GFiber service for your small business is different depending on whether your business is in a single business unit or a multi-tenant unit. You can learn more about the differences below.

Please note that service is not available in all areas. If your business is located in a single business unit, your address must be in an area that has qualified for service.

If your business is located in a multi-tenant unit, once there is a signed agreement between your property manager and GFiber, you can register for GFiber service, but there may be other conditions that affect our ability to bring GFiber to the building.

If your business is located in a single business unit

The first step to installing GFiber for your business is to check whether your address is eligible. If it is, you can sign up online and schedule your installation. Once you’ve signed up, we may contact you to arrange a site survey of your location in order to confirm that we can install GFiber at the property.

If you are a tenant in a multi-tenant unit

To install GFiber for your business, we’ll need to sign an access agreement with your property management representatives and perform a site survey. You can ask your property management representatives to fill out this form to start the process, and direct them to this article about GFiber for commercial property managers if they’d like more information.

After we receive the form, you can expect the following to take place over the next few weeks:

  1. A GFiber team member will contact your property managers to answer any questions they might have about bringing GFiber to the property.
  2. We'll work with them to sign an agreement to access the property and schedule a site survey.
  3. Once the agreement is signed, you can sign up for GFiber.
  4. We’ll conduct a site survey to confirm that we can install GFiber at the property.
  5. After you’ve signed up and the site survey has been successfully completed, we'll send you an email with information about how to schedule your GFiber installation appointment.
