Return a GFiber device

If you cancel your service, change your plan, or move to an area that is not yet eligible for GFiber internet yet, you will have 60 days to return your devices. You can do this by bringing the equipment to:

  • A FedEx Office store (QR code)
    • Free and no packaging is required.
  • An authorized FedEx Drop Box location (prepaid shipping label)
    • Requires you to pay for supplies and package your equipment.
  • Your local GFiber Space
    • Free and no packaging or label is required.

You can find more information about each of these options below:

Return equipment to a FedEx Office Store

Shipping, packaging, and labeling are free of charge if you choose to return your devices by using a QR Code at a FedEx Office Store.

Follow the steps below to return your equipment to a FedEx Office store:

  1. Request a Return Material Authorization (RMA) QR Code.
    • Visit the GFiber Returns QR Code Portal.
    • Fill in your information (name, email, address, and phone number), ensuring that it matches what’s on your GFiber account.
    • You should receive an email that contains your QR Code within five minutes.
  2. Bring your device(s) to any FedEx Office store — no box required.
    • To find your nearest location, check the FedEx Office store locator.
  3. Show your QR code to the store associate.
    • The QR code can either be on your mobile device or printed on paper. They’ll scan the QR code, then pack and ship your return back to GFiber.
  4. A return confirmation email will be sent from GFiber once your return has been processed.

Return equipment by self-shipping

While the shipping costs with the provided label are free, you'll be responsible for any optional packaging supplies or services purchased at a FedEx location if you choose to self-ship.

Follow the steps below to return your devices by self-shipping:

  1. Request a Return Material Authorization (RMA) shipping label.
    • Visit the GFiber Returns Shipping Label Portal.
    • Fill in your information (name, email, address, and phone number), ensuring that it matches what’s on your GFiber account.
      • If you can, please include the device’s serial number on the form as well. If you can’t locate the serial number, no worries — you can still request a shipping label.
    • You should receive an email with your shipping label attached within five minutes (you’ll have the option to print it while on the portal site).
  2. Box your device and attach the printed shipping label to the box.
    • Bring the packaged device(s) you’re returning to any authorized FedEx Drop Box location. If you don’t have packaging, you should be able to purchase what you need at a local FedEx store — to find the store closest to you, check out the FedEx store locator.
    • If you don’t have a printer, that’s no problem — just bring the packaged device(s) to any FedEx Office store along with the email that contains your shipping label and FedEx will print it for you.
  3. Give the store associate your packaged and labeled return(s).
  4. A return confirmation email will be sent from GFiber once your return has been processed.

Return equipment to a GFiber space

If you live near a GFiber Space, you can drop in and return or exchange your equipment anytime during business hours:

  1. Bring your device(s) to a GFiber Space — no box required.
    • To find your nearest location, choose the city/state that corresponds with your address (see the dropdown menus below for more details).
  2. Give the device(s) to the GFiber Space team member.
  3. A return confirmation email will be sent from GFiber once your return has been processed.
If there is no GFiber Space in your area and you need to return your GFiber devices, you can return them to us by bringing a QR code to a local FedEx Office store or by self-shipping – (find more details about how to return a GFiber device here).
