If you cancel your service, change your plan, or move to an area that is not yet eligible for GFiber service, you’ll have 60 days to return your devices. You can do so by bringing the equipment to a FedEx Office Store, shipping it yourself, or by dropping them off at your local GFiber Space.
Return GFiber devices to a FedEx Office Store:
Within 36 hours of making a plan change or cancelation taking effect, you'll receive two emails from fedex.com.
The second email you receive will contain a QR Code that can be brought into any FedEx Office store without the need for a label or packaging material. FedEx will handle the packing and shipping on your behalf.
- Depending on the type of devices you have, you may need to reset them to ensure your personal data and settings remain private. Please perform a factory reset of your GFiber devices before returning them.
- Once you receive the second email from FedEx containing the return QR Code, find the nearest FedEx Office store to you.
- Bring your equipment and the QR Code to the FedEx Office store, no label or packaging necessary.
- The FedEx representative will scan your QR Code and accept your equipment. You will receive a notification of your return within three days.
Return equipment by self-shipping:
Within 36 hours of making a plan change or cancelation taking effect, you'll receive two emails from fedex.com.
The first will contain a link to print a prepaid return label if you choose to pack and ship the GFiber equipment yourself.
- Depending on the type of devices you have, you may need to reset them to ensure your personal data and settings remain private. Please perform a factory reset of your GFiber devices before returning them.
- Once you receive the first email from FedEx containing a return shipping label, pack up your devices using existing packaging material (such as material from the original boxes and bubble wrap, if you still have it) to protect against damage during shipment.
- If you have multiple devices, place them securely in one large box to ship.
- Once your equipment is packaged:
- Print the return label, attach it to your package and drop the package off at any FedEx shipping location
- If you do not own a printer, bring your packaged device to any FedEx Office Store along with the email and FedEx will print the label for you.
Return your equipment to a GFiber Space:
If you live near a GFiber Space, you can drop in and exchange equipment anytime during business hours. No appointment necessary.
