Your Google Fiber TV service comes with one Google Fiber Storage Box (GFMS100), even if you have more than one TV Box. Its dimensions are 7.5" W x 8" D x 1.7" H.
The Storage Box serves as the central storage device for all content that you record from all of your TV Boxes. It provides 2 TB of storage space, which allows you to store up to 500 hours (combined SD and HD programming) or 300 hours HD-only programming, and connects to the TV Boxes using MoCA or Ethernet.
The Storage Box is connected to and stacks under the Network Box with an Ethernet cable. It does not need to be near the TV Boxes in your home.
When it is properly connected, the LED on the front of the Storage Box displays solid blue. If the LED does not display solid blue within two to five minutes after being connected to power, contact Google Fiber customer support.
