Launch YouTube (legacy)

This article applies to customers who have the legacy version of Fiber TV. If you have the new version of our user interface, please view this article on how to launch YouTube.

You can use the YouTube app built in to Google Fiber TV to watch YouTube content just as you do on your computer or other Internet device. Unlike some of the other apps, you do not have to activate your TV with YouTube. You can use the generic version just as it appears on your Fiber TV, or you can sign in to access your subscribed channels.

You can set up parental controls to restrict the use of YouTube on any TV Box in your home.

To watch YouTube content:

1. On any of your TVs, press  on the remote control, and then select Apps & More.

   The Apps & More screen appears.

2. On the Apps & More screen, select YouTube.

   The YouTube launch screen appears for a few moments, and then YouTube appears on your TV screen.

3. Browse through the content and select the videos want to watch.
