My Project Fi account was put on hold

If your Project Fi service was put on hold, it's likely because of a declined payment. You must pay the overdue amount to reactivate your account. There are also a few other reasons why your account might be on hold:

  • We think someone stole your phone or got unauthorized access
  • We noticed suspicious activity
  • We noticed a violation of our terms of service
 

What happens to your service

While your account is on hold, you won't be able to:

  • Make or receive calls
  • Send or receive texts
  • Use cellular data

You'll still be able to see your account and billing history in the Project Fi app and website.

Fixing a declined payment

You must pay the overdue amount to reactivate your account. If you open the Project Fi app or website, you'll see a message at the top that will show you where to make a payment. You can also learn more about fixing a declined payment.
