View all your students' work

This article is for teachers. This feature is only available in the computer version of Classroom.

You can get a quick overview of work you assigned across all your classes. You can see which work is turned in, graded or not graded, or returned. You can also mark work reviewed.

See work across all classes

  1. Go to classroom.google.com and click Sign In.

    Sign in with your Google Account. For example, you@yourschool.edu or you@gmail.comLearn more.

  2. At the top, click To review.

  3. (Optional) To filter your work by class, click All classes and select a class.

  4. Click a title to view submissions.
  5. (Optional) To see or hide work based on due dates, click the Down arrow  or Up arrow .

Mark work as reviewed

  1. Go to classroom.google.com and click Sign In.

    Sign in with your Google Account. For example, you@yourschool.edu or you@gmail.comLearn more.

  2. At the top, click To review.
  3. (Optional) To filter your work by class, click All classes and select a class.
  4. (Optional) To see or hide work based on due dates, click the Down arrow  or Up arrow .
  5. Next to the work, click More and thenMark as reviewed.

    After you mark work as reviewed, you can see it in the Reviewed list.

View all of a student's work in one place

You can see a list of an individual student’s assignments, grades, and missing work all in one place. You can filter the list by status—turned in, returned with grade, or missing. You can also email it to the student and their guardian.

See the list of a student’s work and its status 
  1. Tap Classroom .
  2. Tap the class and then People .

  3. Tap the student’s name.

    Note: You can only view the work of a student who has joined the class.  

  4. Check this page for:
    • The list of the student’s assigned work for the class—assignments, questions, or quizzes—with the due date, if there is one.
    • The status of work assigned, turned in, late, or missing.
    • Any grades for classwork.
    • Any attachments to submissions. You’ll see File next to the work.
    • If the student sent you a private comment, you’ll see Comment next to the work. 
  5. (Optional) To see details or answers, tap the work.
  6. (Optional) To filter the student's work, tap Filter and then Turned in, Returned with grade, or Missing.

Email the list of a student’s work
  1. Tap Classroom .
  2. Tap the class and then People .

  3. Tap the student’s name.

    Note: You can only view the work of a student who has joined the class.

  4. Tap Email .
  5. Next to Student, tap the Down arrow and select Student, Guardians, or Student and guardians.
  6. (Optional) Enter a message.

    The Include student work summary is already turned on.

    Tip: To exclude the student's work summary, tap Turn off .

  7. Tap Post .
