Grade and return question answers

- Tap the class

- Tap the student’s name.
- (Optional) To add a private comment, tap Add private comment. Enter your comment and tap Post

- Tap Back
to return to the answers summary.
- Tap Classroom

- (Optional) The default point value is 100. To change it, tap the point value. Enter another value or select Ungraded
Save.
- Tap a student’s name.
- Tap Add grade and enter the grade.
Note: For decimal grades, Classroom supports 2 digits after the decimal point. If you enter more than 2 digits, the grade is rounded to the nearest 2-digit decimal form. For example, if you enter 88.725, it’s rounded to 88.73.
You can return grades now or later. However, for students to get a notification about new grades, you need to return their grade.
- (Optional) To add a private comment, tap Add private comment. Enter your comment and tap Post

- Choose an option:
- To return the grade to the student, tap Return.
- To return to the Student Work page, tap Close
.
- (Optional) To return grades to multiple students at once, on the Student Work page, tap the box next to each student whose grade you want to return and tap Return.
- Tap Classroom

- Tap the name of the student whose grade you want to change.
- Tap the grade and enter a new one.
- Tap Close

View answers- Tap Classroom

- Tap the class and then tap the question.
- Tap Student work
All students.
- (Optional) To respond to a student’s short answer question, tap Reply
, enter your reply, and tap Post
. Tap Back
to return to the answers summary.
- Tap Cancel
to return to the Student work page.
Note: All students will be able to see the reply.
- Tap Classroom

- Tap the class and then tap the question.
- Tap Student work.

- To continue grading, enter grades for any additional students.
- (Optional) To return grades to multiple students at once, tap the box next to each student whose grade you want to return, tap Return, and confirm.
Note: To update students about their grades, you need to return grades to them. You can return grades during another session.
- Tap Classroom

- Tap Student work.
- Tap a student’s name.
- Enter the new grade.
The grade is automatically saved but not returned to the student.
- Tap Cancel

- To return the grade to the student, tap Return.
- To change other grades, enter new grades for any additional students.
- (Optional) To return updated grades to multiple students at once, tap the box next to each student whose grade you want to return and tap Return.
- Tap Update.
