Remove a student from a class

This page is for teachers. Students go here.

You can remove a student from a class at any time. Removing a student also removes their grades from the gradebook and assignments for your class. However, the student’s work remains in the class folders in Google Drive and their posts remain in the class stream.

  1. Go to classroom.google.com and click Sign In.

    Sign in with your Google Account. For example, you@yourschool.edu or you@gmail.comLearn more.

  2. Click the classand thenPeople.

    Click People

  3. Check the box next to the students you want to remove.
  4. At the top, click Actionsand thenRemove.

    Select Remove

  5. Click Remove to confirm.
