Create, edit, open & delete collaborations

To collaborate on a Google Drive file in a Learning Management System (LMS), you can use Assignments.

Before you begin

To use Assignments, you need an LMS and a Google Workspace for Education account. The account usually appears like yourname@yourschool.edu. If Assignments isn't installed in your LMS, ask your school administrator to go to Get started with Assignments.

You can only open a collaboration with a personal account if your school administrator allows external Drive sharing. If you're an administrator for your school, learn how to manage external sharing for your organization.
