Suddenly can no longer make a copy of a document in my drive

I have cleared cookies and cache, updated my Mac iOs, updated Chrome, called Apple support, shut down my computer and nothing has worked.

Which version of Mac OS are you using?
 
Which browser are you using?
 
As a troubleshooting test, if you temporarily sign into your account in a different browser (preferably one that you rarely or never use) or incognito mode if you are using Chrome, does the problem persist or resolve?

I am using Sequoia 15.3.  I am using Chrome as my browser.  I will try accessing my account from Safari.  Incognito mode did not resolve the problem.

I tried opening y account in Safari and it did not resolve the problem.  

When I go under file and click on "make a copy" - I close the window when it doesn't work - then the title "copy of..." appears in my list of documents.  When I click on the "copy of..." it says couldn't review - try downloading instead
Thank you, Karen. As the problem didn't resolve with those troubleshooting steps, it points to there being something global on your computer (such as VPN, antivirus software, etc.) that is interfering with this feature in Drive. As I wouldn't have any idea what that might be on your specific computer, you might want to contact Apple support again.

I just tried making a copy of a document in the drive of my other email account and it works.  Does this help with troubleshooting?
I wish that it did, but it doesn't really. Are both of these accounts personal (free) accounts or is one a Workspace (business or education) account?

The one I'm having trouble with is a work account - I'm a mental health clinician and the account is owned by the practice that I work for.
In that case, Karen, you will need to reach out to your organization's IT department or Workspace administrator for help with this issue. If necessary, they may be able to contact Workspace support for further troubleshooting. Good luck!
