Google Drive Portable

Hi!
For all of you who don't have administrator access or want to have a portable version of Google Drive Sync, here it is in .zip format:

I found that the only reason Google Drive needs administrator access is because the installer tries to put the files in the Program Files folder, which is not writable by a normal user.

The files are the exact files installed with the setup program; just unzip the compressed folder somewhere and run the executable file.

Enjoy!

Thanks for this, I also have the same problem...

How about updates to the app? Will it automaticly update or should I re-download every time the update comes?

Thanks...

I'm not sure.
Why don't you wait and see... I think it will update though, since it's basically the same as the installation, just that it's in a different folder.
