DRE OpsGoogle Drive Doesn't Work on Mac OS High Sierra - HFS+ Drive Error
Google Drive doesn't work with the new Mac OS High Sierra. Please fix it to support the new APFS file systems that is used by the new OS (version 10.13).After installing OS High Sierra over the top of OS Sierra (10.12) which does use the old HFS+ file system, my laptop would crash and reboot anytime I opened the Finder App or files in the Google Drive folder were accessed. It wasn't until I erased my hard drive completely and did a clean install of OS High Sierra and then tried to re-install the Google Drive app that I was prompted with the error below."Please select a folder on an HFS+ drive that is not mounted over a network."PLEASE update the Google Drive Mac app to support APFS.

computergeek125Just finished installing High Sierra, same issue. I think Google Drive is just checking to see if the file system == HFS+, else reject all, rather than checking the filesystem's capabilities. High Sierra uses APFS, which is brand-new with this release and has better capabilities than the older HFS+.
