Providing a Drive Sync Log File

Hi,

Some of you experiencing problems with Drive might be asked to provide a sync log file and this is how it can be done:

(On Mac)
- Open Finder and from your task bar
- Select "Go" -> "Go to Folder..."
- Enter this, exactly: ~/Library/Application Support/Google/Drive
- Copy or duplicate the sync_log.log file onto your desktop
- Compress the new sync_log.log file and attach it to the forum

(On Windows)
- Go to the finder and click on Computer
- Click the icon for your hard drive
- Click users and select your user profile
- Click appdata > local > Google > Drive
- Copy the sync_log file to your desktop
- Compress the sync_log file and attach it in the forum

Cheers,

- Mike

Levels

Member levels indicate a user's level of participation in a forum. The greater the participation, the higher the level. Everyone starts at level 1 and can rise to level 10. These activities can increase your level in a forum:

  • Post an answer.
  • Having your answer selected as the best answer.
  • Having your post rated as helpful.
  • Vote up a post.
  • Correctly mark a topic or post as abuse.

Having a post marked and removed as abuse will slow a user's advance in levels.
