Make domains safe with security settings

Google Domains provides a safe and reliable infrastructure for your domain so you can scale your business like a pro. At no extra cost, you can access modern security practices that make it easier to protect your domain, such as:

  • 2-Step Verification for your Google Account.
  • One-click DNSSEC (on by default) protects your domains from DNS threats.
  • SSL /TLS certification information.
Turn 2-factor authorization On or Off
Tip: Add an extra layer of protection to make sure only you can sign in to your account. Each time you sign in to your Google Account, you'll need your password and a verification code.
  1. Go to Google Domains.
  2. Select your domain.
  3. Click Menu Menu.
  4. Click Security.
  5. Scroll to the 2-Step Verification box.
  6. The Manage link will take you to your Google Account settings and lets you manage your 2-Step Verification options.
Turn DNSSEC On or Off
Tip: Turn on DNSSEC to protect your domains from potential cache poison attacks and DNS spoofing.
  1. Go to Google Domains.
  2. Select your domain.
  3. Click Menu Menu.
  4. Click DNS.
  5. Scroll to the DNSSEC box.
  6. Interact with the action button on the card to enable or disable DNSSEC.
